A Touch of Balance is a place for you to come relax and release tension from the past week. A place you can feel safe and receive a healing touch in a peaceful environment. Whether you are looking for a relaxing massage or a something a little deeper I will work with you to customize your experience.
In your first appointment, you will complete a confidential client history form and I will perform an assessment to help determine your specific needs and set up a unique and safe treatment plan just for you. This is an open and safe place to express your concerns and set health goals. I may give you some helpful stretches, exercises or recommend the services of another professional to help you achieve these goals. In between treatments, the self care you perform will be very important to your success.
I look forward to coming alongside you and help you achieve your optimum health.
I have been performing massage therapy since 2004 in Alberta, British Columbia and Newfoundland. I obtained a 2 year 2200 hr diploma in Remedial Massage at MH Vicars School of Massage Therapy in 2004 and recently attended Academy Canada in 2020 to help me challenge the Newfoundland provincial examinations and practice here locally. I am excited to use all my years of experience and new knowledge to help you feel better.

DEEP TISSUE THERAPEUTIC
Looking for something a little deeper than a relaxation massage? Want relief from a specific pain or injury caused by muscle tension and or myofascial restrictions?
Deep Tissue Therapeutic Massage requires active cooperation and open communication between client and therapist to remain within a safe and effective treatment plan.
(Included in every Massage Treatment)
Self-Care is important in your recovery and success. A massage can often provide relief of symptoms but when you actively perform your self care stretches and/or strengthening exercises in between treatments we often see clients reach their goals faster.
Over the years, I have seen some products that can be helpful to own in your own home to help you with your self-care outside of the treatment room.
Here are a few of my recommended products.
